182 shocks on a trophy please help! N

At work rite now car up on the ramp
I have bought two new renault 182 "extreme package" front shockers and am swapping them over cause trophy ones are going for refurb
So the go staint on having little trouble with lenth and struttop mount

So these are "cup" dampers? You have to really push the wishbone down.

Sussed it cheers now Jst to get the old shocks refurbed

What was the problem for future reference. The price will depend on what needs doing going up from £400 or so.

Mine are being sent tommorrow. £430 for basic surface (stripped, new seals, oil and nitrogen, dynoed), £60 per side for new adjuster assembly, £130 per side for new shafts

Stupidly expensive

Cheers for the advice earlier was struggling with the lower arm
Needed help from a long bar to lever arm down to line up bolts
(Anti rollbars are stiff) and wasent sure if those shocks even fitted trophys
But now there off
What's your thought on doing refurb myself iv stripped down
Numerous motorcycle/MTB shocks/forks before and don't see the sence in spending
Loads of money on a little seal that is potentially the problem

The Cup dampers are quite a bit longer, pain in arse to do on your own xD Had to use the renault jack before to push the wishbone down

iirc the sachs units are absolute ball aches to get the right parts for as sachs don't supply them readily. there was only one licensed servicer in the UK, this seems to have changed recently...
