I've been to the Nurburgring before with my standard tyres, but was wondering what people think is the best tyre for the job. I'm toying with the idea of a second set of wheels anyway with r888's or khumo's, but I don't know how well they would heat up at the ring. Would anyone bother...
I am buying some new PE2's for the front of my car and have found some decently priced ones on black circles.
Now, they have both "v" rated and "w" rated tyres on there - and there is only a quid difference in price.
Which should i go for?
Thanks for your help!

I have for sale a Speedline Turini Alloy with Exalto 2 tyre. The alloy is completely unmarked and like new, the tyre has less than 100 miles on it as it was only used as a spare for longer journeys. You can see from the photos that both are in excellent condition. I am after £150, if...
Right as an owner of a Trophy for the last few months we have all seen the horror stories surrounding the front dampers & the costs from the stealers involved in replacing them.
Whilst looking into the dampers, you soon realise why they are 'so' good. Not your usual bolt on upgrade, but top...
Got 1 x 182 wheel done in ford diamond white, ideal for a spare or if ya like to have referbed, got a few chips on but nothing on the rim.
Comes with centre cap and Kumho tyre with 2-3 mm tread left on it so it would be a gd spare wheel-thats what i brought it for in the 1st place.
Lookig for...
When I got the MoT done at the weekend they found a screw in the N/S front tyre. It's in a block so may not have penetrated the tyre carcass but I'm loathed to extract it unless I'm at a good tyre fitter with an Exalto in my hand.
I wouldn't want to risk Kwik Fit or ATS etc and you have to buy...
Has anyone had there 48K service done lately??
Am trying to negotiate a good price and need a reference point really.
Have been quoted £188.91, the list price for the service is apparently £253.79.
The price of tyres seems to have increased lately, best I can find is £115 a corner...
Well time has come to part with Tommy. For me a car addict Tommy was my cure, no longer do i feel the need for a different car every few months.

What an earth were they thinking it's stone age in comparison to Silverstone, great circuit but the facilities are pretty dire, i actually think it's a ploy to pull the plug on the British GP full stop.
What do you guys think
Wheels are as new, lovingly polished even on the inside. Tyres are 60% worn Kumho V70A soft - the only make available in the correct size. Warning, they are brilliant in the wet, but not in standing water (only have 4mm tread when new)- also being soft they pick up every little bit of grit and...
The fronts on my trophy are well overdue for a change and im tempted to change and try the toyo r888s, Has anyone tried them for everyday road use?? ive read all the write ups about them but just wondering if anyone on here has tried them?
everytime i get in my car and start it up everything is fine but when i move off i get this weird knocking sound, it feels like its from the clutch or summt but when driving around its fine, even after when im waiting in traffic lights then move off again it seems fine, do you think its...
Just been out checking my front tyres and they are wearing out more on the outside of the tyre. Not by much but easily noticable. Was wondering what this is down to, camber angle?(I had my camber adjusted to the factory setting by mark fish) Am doing lots of motorway miles so I guess this is...
Needing new tyres to be fitted this week during my 3 year service…
Is it “exalto 2†tyres I need ? only my trophy tyres seem to be just normal “exalto†types..

Cheers in avance for any help..
Hi guys, just had a wonderfull experiance at my local renault dealer that i brought the car of a mounth ago.NOT.
They owe me to new tyers and had them fitted today and they've fitted firestones instead of the michelin tyres i asked for. Does enyone know weather they are up to much or is it me...
I've been told that it's reasonable to swap the front set of wheels for the back set of wheels in the interest of 'cough' preserving consistent tyre wear.
While I appreciate this is potentially a pikey way to go on tyres, it may make some sense as it means you can manage to have 4 newtyres...

Have just spoken to Rentech in Portsmouth about my Trophys hard ride. I love the car but using it every day, sometimes its just too hard. They have said that they can remove the pins from the dampers which will make the ride softer, however they have not had any feed back from the few trophys...

Spent the weekend polishing the Trophy, have been meaning to combat the swirls ever since it came out of Renault for some warranty work (forgot to ask them not to clean the car with a gritty sponge).
Not the best weekend, as I had to keep dodging all the rain showers . Had to finish up in the...
A few pics my mate took of mine and my mates cars over the weekend:
Some of the sessions were dangerously wet, and a couple were bone dry...all i will say is R888's in wet...not overly dangerous, R888's in dry transform the car!

Tonight i went to the BP garage in shiremore, northeast, as i left i hit a pot hole on the exit of the forecourt, it felt like i had ran over a horse. Got about 300m down the road and knew a had a flat tyre, stopped and used 2 cans of tyre foam which just managed to get me home.

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on selling my Trophy..
I spoke to allvehicles.co.uk and they offered me £8k. Also went into Renault DSG Morecambe and after being asked if it was a 172 or 182 three times and several references to it being called a cup(!) they offered me...
