I'm currently trying a HKS filter (over my itg panel), and have made a small change to tail pipes on the magnex back box.. (get board easily...)
The filter seems to be working rather well, and has certainly improved throttle response early on through the gears!!Seem to be losing a fraction of...
Just interested as its a "special" anyhow...
I doubt you want to change the suspension....(shocks)?

As per the topic titled, my intermittent problem with my water/coolant temp gague have now developed into a constant issue, and now the car does not ever register the correct temp - which at least should make it easier for the technicians to identify the problem!
Will get the car booked in...

The recent posts about the types of chips/ecu that you can get for the Trophy has got me very interested in the subject. Trying to work out what is the best of the options available.
The chips/ecu's I know about so far are as follows:
Replacement ECU with R'sport map - The type that Nik...

Hi all.
I'm seriously thinking about buying a Trophy in the next couple of months or so when the cash comes through and have a few questions. As always, after getting used to a car we start craving more power, however, with this car I don't think I'd go as far as increasing engine capacity or...
On my daily commute I drive through a ford with a very steep section of road after it. I knew it would be trouble this morning being -4 outside!!! so I'd planned on not going that way today. However due to an accident or something causing traffic to not move at all on the other route I decided I...
What do you lot think about it? I quite like it, there's a greyish one that passes me everymorning, certainly stands out. Quite like the dash too
I've seen a few concept pics of the Type-R and that does look nice
  left a roundabout at full gas in second going up a small twisting hill road in my town when i went to let off approaching a bend the throttle stayed stuck to the floor as i pushed the clutch the car was revving to the limiter like a mother fucker had to quickly turn the engine...
Ordered a Goodridge Brake Line Kit and some Castrol Responce Dot 4 brake fluid yesterday afternoon from www.yozzasport.co.uk and they turned up first thing this morning.
They also chucked in some (3) YozzaSport stickers!

Does anyone know why there is a 'button' at the bottom of the footwell where the accelerator is?
The only reason I can think of is to de-activate the speed limiter cruise control. Other than that... pointless?
most of you prolly know me and that I have a Williams... well it's pissing me off quite honestly. Fun and great as it is there are certain reliaility issues that will just not go away and I'm about to sink (see 'waste') yet more money into it to get it running for however long... I'm thinking...

I have for sale a BMC carbon Airbox with fittings and a seperatly bought Samco 70mm 90d bend to fit it to the 172/182 throttle body.
The samco hose is brand spanking new still never opened in original packaging and the BMC airbox is in very good condition.
The BMC was fitted to my 206...
Alright just done 930miles and doesn't really seem as quick as the clio 182 cup I took out with the dealer. I could really feel the kick at 5000-5500rpm but don't seem to feel it in the trophy. The dealer told me of a person with a trophy when I was going to order one so telephoned the person so...
When I set off in the car from cold, the engine feels like its running on three cylinders. A few hundred yards down the street and all is well.
Is this an engine management thing?
I had a 172 Cup a couple of years back and I seem to remember it doing something similar.
Any suggestions...
What oil have Renault loaded the Trophy up with from new?
Through my other posts here, I was advised not to go to a fully syn after 1000 miles as the oil would be too thin etc, and that I should keep the running in oil in there, but would Renault really tell us to leave a running in oil in...
As I crept past 500 miles last night, I thought i was time to start using all of the throttle. When I depress the accelerator it feels like there is something stopping me from hitting the throttle stop, it I then apply slightly more pressure I can feel it move past this point and hit the stop on...
drivin home tonight without the radio on and noticed a noise - think prob exhaust but here goes -
its most noticable when i lift off the throttle and sounds like a raspy, tickley, sort of rustle sound. when i accelerate it changes to a more prominent raspiness(?). If i dip the clutch it...
