I feel the shame already
Just a little comparison, I love them both though
Basically I got offered these cheap, they'd done relatively no miles and as I dont intend to drive the trophy hard this year at all then I thought why not enjoy the added looks low cars give....atleast to...
Good to meet you all today, and have a good poke around some lovely cars! Now want a V6. Glad the lovely Welsh weather held out  despite the conditions the camera held out and managed to a fair few snaps which can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulduddle ... 076669757/
here's...
I'm thinking of starting to machine polish the trophy as i can see some general swirling which would be nice to get rid of. Has anyone been doing this on there T? Does anyone know is our paint clear coat or two part and does the paint seem to be quite soft? I should find this by experimenting...

182 gearbox on 93k. No crunches and...
Im in need of 2 new tyres
Firstly - wheres the best place (cheapest) to get michelin pe2's or ps3's from (or other recommendations?)
Secondly, does it matter that much if i use say ps3's on the front and pe2's on the back, probably doesnt just i will have my OCD glasses and will be thinking...

Hi does anyone know a good insurance company that offer a fair price to insure the Trophy?
Many thanks Paul
How do i change my profile status to Trophy owner?
Hi,
I test drove a Megane 250 Cup and Clio Sport 200 back to back today and I can't decide which is better.
The car will mainly be a daily driver with occasional trackday use.
The handling of both is great but the Megane might be a better car to live with day to day (if only it looked better)...
Hello All!
Got the opportunity to clean the new Trophy or Rory as my 3 yr old daughter calls him, now been in my ownership for a week and loving it, completely standard, need some new exhaust brackets (wonky tail pipes) and the sachs rebuilding ASAP, apart from that its mint 1 owner, and been...
Here goes. Post No.1
I used to own a 182Cup. Loved it, but since then have been exploiting Munich's finest; a CSL.
1.5 kids later and i reckon i'm going to return to the world of superhothatchville. And the Trophy an itch than has never quite been scratched.
So, to cut a long story short. I'm...
Hi, just bought 426, and pretty sure the drivers shock needs refurbing, bit of bounce and very crashy. will get refurbed, but my question is, I need to use the car (looking for number 2 vehicle at the mo) am I ok to use the trophy in the meantime? Or will this further add to the shock damage and...
Anyone tried Federal 595 RS-R's : semi slicks like R888's - they are significantly cheaper than Toyo's and seem to get good write up's elsewhere. I'm need a new set of track only rubber (was on 888's) and might try them ????
My trophy has gone in for its major service. It went to a garage rather than Renault them selves due to it costing nearly 500 pounds more at Renault. My trophy was having everything changed that was on the Renault major service check list and genuine Renault parts however i had a small leak of...

Just got myself a Trophy which has the Mark fish springs and koni rear shocks. Have played around with the settings on the shocks and as recommended elsewhere on here have set the rears at 1 and a quarter off full soft and the fronts at 22 clicks. I do a lot of road miles and am finding the...

I've just been out and had a test drive in my first Trophy today. Unfortunately, I didn't note what number it is. Quick questions. 1-we have 3 auto cars at the moment and haven't driven a manual for a while. The clutch engaged/disengaged cleanly but did seem a bit heavy. 2-the steering wheel had...
Popped to see a mate today who works in a garage. While I was there I got talking to a customer who was waiting for his car to be MoT tested. He noticed my car and commented on the twin exhausts and said that he neighbour had a Clio with exhausts like that.. he said it had been standing in...
Need to replace my rear brake pads, which pads are people using? I have ds2500's on the front which are great, as the rears dont do a lot is it worth just getting a cheaper pad?
Cheers ed.
Pick my car up from jamsport saturday after having ported and matched inlet, custom remap, whiteline rear arb, pagid front discs, ferodo ds2500 front pads, goodridge braided brake hoses all round and 5.1 brake fluid so will let you all know the results fingers crossed they will be good
Am soon to be the owner of number 25 - next week! It'll be used as a daily driver and I'm looking forward to doing a few sprints and hillclimbs with it as well. Nothing too serious, it's just nice to give it some proper exercise occaisonally. Previous owner has done a great job in doing (as far...
Ok, so i dont normally whore, but thanks to James (JMS) and Mike (FailSport) last night, the TroFail is now finished. I'm sure a few of you will have read my project thread, & i'll update that with more info than in here, but chuffed isnt the word, it drives brilliantly & looks ruddy lovely imho...

Hey people,
i have been looking around for a while regarding an exhaust replacement for my 182 and have settled on the rs 192. After reading many good reports from users on here and listening and watching youtube clips of them when fitted its seems like a good option.
Will be...
Heard a rumor that if you plug a Fault Code Reader in and cancel the emissions light (de-cat) it will go off and stay off?
is this true?
I would figure it would just come back on again after XXX-miles, does anyone have an informed insight or better a code reader (southampton way)?
