Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had this. I have knocking noise coming from the offside front area. You will hear one knock as you pull away or accelerate and another as you let off the power. Don't have to be going fast or driving aggressive. I did jack it up but all looked and felt OK...

Yup, mines a daily. I bought a higher milage one for that reason. I might feel bad using a low milage one daily! I tried having a 1.2 Fiesta for a while as a daily but the lack of power was a killer. These are great little cars as dailys imo!

Thought I'd leave a little feed back now that I've had the Michelin PS3 on for a few weeks and I have to admit that they seem to lack initial feed back of the road surface but do grip very well when pushing on. Not had a chance to fully try them in all weathers but time will tell. I do however...

I only use Bosch now after trying a cheap set from the bay. Esp the rear one!

Turns out the second hand box is noisy! A different type of noise. More of a gear/grinding type noise when in all gears. Possibly the diff. Such a waste of time. Properly annoyed as I'll have to take it out again.

Sorted it! The selector arm on the box can flip 180 and was hitting on the gearbox housing. Worth watching out for! Trophy is back on the road!

Just fitted a second hand gearbox after mine blew up but I cannot select reverse. It will go into reverse if I help it from underneath so the box seams OK. I have read that the linkages are a pain to get right but I've tried about everything. I also fitted a Powerflex dogbone mount but that...
