I do wonder what mine would be worth if i put it up for sale (not that im planning on selling as i love driving it). 45k and im the 2nd owner. I think it would be a hard sell due to the mods/non originality.
Bilstein b14. Mine runs them, compliant for road use. Previous owner fitted them when the sachs needed rebuild, and said they were as good, if not better than the sachs.
Avoid the bc's.
If money not an issue, go Ast/Nitron/Ohlins. I have Ast5100 on another car of mine, and the damping is...
The tyres take the paint up off the floor if parked in the same spot for a period. Im not arsed about the paint coming off the floor but it takes a while to wear off the tread. Decent paint and prepped well too cant win.
Great job on the repairs. I think the general rule with these clios is if any visible rust around rear arches or above sideskirt, then its going to need a bit of surgery.
Just change the manifold to cat joint to a vband clamp and short bit of flexi hose. Any decent custom exhaust place will be able to do it if you cant weld it yourself.
Ive not used any bodyshops round here in years so cant recommend any, however id try and get the dents removed by PDR before paint. Just Dents in Darlington are spot on, i had a couple removed from mine recently.
Thanks for that. Ill do some digging and see if anything is available on that part number via Renault. Endon services are saying NLA but hoping somebody has new old stock lying around. Ours is mint unmarked, but has been drilled for a potietiometer for epas, so if i can source new ill change it.
For reference im looking for part number 1, i believe the part number is 8200087825, discontinued apparently. I dont think the number on catcar is even on the system anymore.
Ive tried ordering from Renault using the part number and unavailable as expected sadly. Not used that company before ? How do they come, luck of the draw if any good?
Wanted - ideally brand new centre console for mk2 clio ph2 Trophy. Will consider mint unmarked used if anybody has one.
Cash waiting, thanks in advance.
