Well, the time has come to part company with No.099, I'm off to the US with work so the car needs to go.....

So the time has come to say goodbye to No. 099! Unfortunaltey a change of circumstances requires a change of car so here's your chance to own one of the best FWD cars ever made!
55 plate, 24,500 miles and standard (Sachs, Recaro, Speedline) save for an Apline/Infinity iPod ready sound...
Well, I've had No.99 for 18 months now and I think it's time to part ways!
I'm just in the process of buying a flat with my girlfriend and we really don't need 2 cars, plus selling the Trophy and foregoing the overheads (insurance, tyres, petrol etc...) would help to clear my debt much...

Does anybody know the law when it comes to buying and selling imported cars.
Is a dealer legally obliged to tell you if the car you are buying is an import? If they do, what are the reprecussions if they fail to do so?
Any info is greatly appreciated...
I'm sitting at 21,500, almost 12 months since my last service and needing a new pair of front shoes. Over the next 5 weeks I've got to cover a few thousand miles including a trip to the Scottish Highlands.
By the time I head off to Scotland on September 8th I'll probably be around the 23K -...
Having been a victim of crime and 'seeing' how easy it is to break a car's windows I'm thinking about getting something like Supa Glass but I'm wondering if there's any point?
Yes it means you can hit the window with a baseball bat and it won't explode but does that put a thief off or will...
Got to the station this evening to find No. 99 with it's driver's door window smashed and my head unit gone!
Police came and photographed it, dusted for prints and took samples of the foot print on the seat. Luckily there's no body work damage and they didn't open the glove box to the see the...
Evo descrivbe the Trophy as 'the most fun you can have on 3 wheels' but my question is how do you get it on 3 wheels?
Is it something that you should be able to do everyday or do you have to really push the car so much that you're very unlikely to achieve it safely on the road?
Can you...
We've just moved to Felbridge and I was taking a look at the parking at Three Bridges on Friday afternoon and spotted another Trophy in the car park, any takers?
Driving along the A264 on Saturday morning from Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead with vast amounts of surface water No. 99 was quite 'floaty' at times! :D
It was quite surreal actually, water was cascading down the road and combined with all the leaves the wind had brought down over night...
Can we compile a list of the different Renault specialists for easy reference?
I need tyres, pads, a service and whilst I'm at it I might as well get a full alignment done. Being in Kent I'm thinking of taking a day off and shooting down to RenTech in Portsmouth, stopping at MichelDever Tyres...
My fronts are going to have to be replaced in the next few hundred miles but I'm wondering whether people prefer putting new tyres on the back or front?
One line of argument suggest they should go on the front as those tyres deal with power, steering and braking whilst others think new tyres...
I'm finding selecting 3rd gear is getting a bit 'clunky'? As I move the stick towards 3rd it hits some resisdence and then pops through and slots into gear?
Anyone else had anything similar? I'll probably run it into the dealers in the next week or so to see what they say!
Pulled into the car park this evening having not been to the gym for weeks and there's another Trophy sitting there. Naturally I had to park next to it, anyone on here?
Any one going this year? I'm heading down, but there's a good chance No. 99 won't be going as I should have access to a load lugging 2.8 V6 A4 Avant Quattro to get us there with everything we need!
Not really Trophy related, but this forum gets more activity than any others!!
Here's another quick question!!! ;)
My Trophy is Superguarded from the dealers, but I want to clean it and Zymol it today! Should the Zymol products strip back the Superguard, or do I need an additional cleaner/solvent to get rid of it?
How many people pay for it?
If not why not? Does your normal policy cover you? Are you so rich it doesn't matter?
I'm interested because I would never consider going out on the track with cover, but some people seem to be very blase. From various people I've heard it suggested that all you...
....and I get a speeding ticket!!!!!
I've had 7 years of breaking the speed limit and almost as soon as I jump into a bright red hot hatch I get clobbered!
I can't really complain though, 3 points and £60 is getting off lightly as the policeman was lenient!!!
I'm picking up my Trophy tomorrow, and I'm interested to know what, if any, modifications are needed to get a good sound out of it?
I'm planning on upgrading the HU to one of these: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=4679
What about the speakers? Has anyone changed from the...
