Don't bother with these springs again. They don't seem all that to me. Eibach Prolines or Mark Fishes (gettit) all the way. In the past When I wanted a ricecooker, sorry evo, I sooooo wanted Exetc suspension as it sounds the bx. On the front I'd say it is the damper doing all the work. On the back I think they are both sherking their duties lol. The spring usually wins though. Hence Why I want to do something about it/them.

I totally agree, the reason I'm asking is because one of my springs has snapped and so I currently have the car on axle stands. I have no idea how it happened, I haven't had any knocks or anything so I'm assuming a crack at some point just giving up? I only noticed it when I had the car jacked up last week. I have emailed Mark fish about his springs and hope to get a reply pretty quickly really as I will need the car again soon.

Anyone else ever had a snapped spring?

No, but rusting springs is common with any springs other than Eibach. I know corsa's are prone to this, but a friend had an Audi S3 and 3 springs snapped. BTW I would seriously recommend phoning mark, as he never looks at his computer during the day. I couldn't say how quickly he will respond, but a phone call is instant. Another common feature of poor quality springs is that they gradually get softer over time. So what started out as a 150lb spring coud become 125 etc.
