Trophy 207 Update

[PS CUP]

I've owned #207 since September 12, having owned #383 before, so its about time for an update.

The car was in excellent condition when I picked it up and only needed a few bits doing!

New exhaust mounts fitted and AeroTwin wipers on arrival home.

I had ordered new set of Speedlines from Renault in July 12 and they arrived in January this year only taking 7 months to arrive!

These were only fitted last month as I had been waiting for the bad weather to pass before.

They were coated with Gtechniq C5 wheel armour and fitted with a new set of Michelin Exalto's



Next up is mint heater control panel and a service at Rentech next week.

Leaving really just the steering wheel to do!

Yes they are, I have been collecting them for a while and had only 1 new one then stumbled on 3 more!

A little update on #207

April: Rentech serviced the car.

June: Sachs removed for a re-furb and new Cup shocks fitted to keep it on the road.

July: New Renault rear discs and pads fitted with centre and edges sprayed to stop the rust.

Gearbox oil drained and re-filled with Elf.

New Renault wheel bolts just needs lockers cleaned or replaced now.

Replaced steering wheel with a used but better condition one.

Yes off to Cornering Force once I have added a couple of extra drain holes in the spring cup.

#207 Update

I've not had time to post anything on #207 for ages but here's what happened over the past year!

The Trophy didn't get much use over the Winter.

The door handles had faded and these were re-sprayed along with the roof strips.

April: New air con dryer fitted and system checked and re-gas.

May: Serviced by Two Techs Dartford (highly recommended)

July: Full decontamination and machine polish using Rupes Bigfoot and Meguiars 105 & 205 and finished with Werkstat Carnuba system.

August: Fitted new mats, number plate light and brand new steering wheel.

Next up: Drain/flush coolant fit new header tank and refill.
