Track insurance

Hi everyone,im currently insured with tesco on my trophy.Id like to take the trophy to a couple of track days next year but im unsure tesco will insure me to do them.Are there any companys that will insure my car just for one day so i can go?

Used MORIS before, dont think they're the cheapest but they do an individual quote based on track experience etc. and you can build up trackday no claims with them too.

You should check first that your standard policy excludes track days.
After dozens of trackdays, my only accident so far was entirely my fault, and my standard insurance company paid out without any fuss.

The specialist trackday insurance won't invalidate your normal policy, and is valid for just the day of the trackday.

In last month's Evo mag there is an article on a company that offers free trackday insurance if you buy a standard car policy with them. I'll definitely be looking at them at renewal time:

Im pretty sure it doesnt include track days.Ive been with HIC before,and lets put it this way,i didnt go back with them.How much would i be looking at to insure my car for one day?

If you take out trackday insurance it will just cover you for the trackday and will not invalidate your normal insurance

I've used THB Egger Lawson in Nottingham - haven't had to claim! But seem pretty efficient and sorted.
