Modified spring platform to allow the crud out,gone from a 6mm single hole to 3 8mm holes

Those clever frenchies have put their parts sticker directly over the nice sachs one which wont come off without damaging the original :mad: little things hey.

I went for media blasting,zinc coating then a metallic titanium colour powder coating.

Looking good :cool:

Good thinking with the extra holes drilled to help stop the build up of crap at the base.should have done that myself before mine got powder coated.

Looks like a great job! What did the front refurb with the powder coat work out to be? If you don't mind being asked!

Shocks had the full service plus new compression adjusters that work (not pinned),new dual seal gas cap assy each,dyno tested at BG cost £550

Powder coating at mates rates £30,i got BG to send the stripped unit back so i could do this as they dont currently offer this service.

Just a note of something I did when I got my brand new Sachs, I coated the edges of end cap seals with copious amounts of heavy grease to create a barrier/seal to prevent dirt and salt contamination. Might be worth doing on your refurbed dampers too.
