Nope 328 is still in good health, but I've just had the DVLA paperwork come through confirming the plate is now on retention. I've just fitted my new plates, guess i'd better change my forum name now!

Can you not do that Gareth! My heart actually missed a beat when I thought you'd written off 328.

What are you going to go for as your new user name? Your new plate or something original, discrete and thought provoking like mine?

Now who was it that started a post for "who has T??PHY numbers" that led me to spending my hard earnt money on such a number plate :-k

Ah yes

And now his left the Gang

The next number to me is nothing now but a lonely piece of paper, neglected in some dark drawer with no better company than a few paper clips and old reciepts :-({|= His once proud existence on the front and back of a true classic, snuffed out coz he no longer suited his owner who had clearly found something better....apparently [-X

Shame on you (tdown)

Regards your old gang member T22PHY...............And still oh so proud \:D/

after reading that post i actually feel guilty.

however, T23 will reappear back on number 328 in the not so distant future, i've decided against selling the plate unless i get a great offer.

Temporarily hidden in a dark drawer but definitely not forgotten :D

Nice plate that, I was looking at that one, T1 PHY is still up for grabs, I think it's because it's £500 rather than £250 that it hasn't gone.

i hang my head further with shame for moving away from the T** PHY plate #-o

although my current plate confuses people even more as they think it's something older (current private plate is now an R prefix) and with the car being dirty  they don't give it a second look until you surprise them by pressing the go faster pedal to the floor :p

It is hilarious how many non car enthusiasts think you've got a bodykitted 1.2. There's nothing like recognition from the people who matter and anonymity from the people who don't! No NO NO, I've got the 3 litre S-Type - you can't be overtaking me in that hatchback!!

lmao - i've noticed this. Mines a R5 *** and as you say when its dirty they just think its a chaved up old clio.

makes me laugh when other hot hatch's think that their lowered, air filtered saxo's etc 'challenge you' Never fails to amaze me that other car people don't know about the Trophy.

the only thing that'd make it more stealth is if the exhausts weren't on show, those with a little bit of petrol running through their veins figure you might have something a bit more than a 1.2 with twin exhausts. all adds to the fun though
