Steering Wheel 'rubbery bits'

The rubbery bits (very technical )on my steering wheel have worn and today have split, can you replace just the rubber or is it a new steering wheel, if the later which it probably is knowing my luck any ideas on cost ?

Hi Suzie,

Unfortunately you can't just buy the "rubbery" bits, a new wheel from Renault is a whopping £294inc vat.

I'm sure i've read somewhere that K-Tec are making carbon fiber replacements soon though, not to my taste but i guess at the price of a new wheel you'd have to consider them.
