Hi. does anyone know of a specialist garage for Renault Sport cars in the north east. im after my aux belt changed and i think im going to get my cam belt done but the stealers want fortunes for the job. does anyone know a good garage to get this work done in the north east. all the garages mentioned on here for RS cars are too far for me to travel. cheers

There is one in Newcastle TW & S Barker i think, not sure if they are specifically Reno but i was recommended these from someone on CS who in turn had been recommended by someone else on CS, think he got his cam belt, aux belt kits and brakes all done for £550, that was approx 1 year ago.
Location is under the King Edward Bridge railway bridge arches next to Newcastle Arena, 0191 232 9532.
Apparently the bloke who owns the garage had a Lovely Renault Alpine outside garage alongside a highly modded Renault 21 Turbo.
I will be going there for my cam and aux kits done either at the end of this month or next.
Ive also heard that R&P Woods are good, Jesmond sort of area i think.

Spot on mate. Cheers for the help ill give them a ring. says on yellow pages they are reno specialists which give you a little piece of mind that they know what there doing.
yes "R&P woods" up near the freeman hospital....not a renault specialist but a great family run garage, the guy who owns it (paul woods) is a genuinly nice and totally honest guy who loves his cars...
i've been going there for years and every time i go in i'm amazed by the cars in the courtyard, group b rally cars, lotus carltons, cosworths of every description, vw gtis, classic ferraris you name it.
they do rolling road and turbo technics stuff to...well worth a look in.

My mate used to race small cars and he used to go to R&P Woods to go on the rollers and get the car set up before he took it on the track, or so he told me, going back a few years though.
Think i might give him a bell and get a price from there too for my belts change.
