slow lift off knock

Hello
When coming into work today i noticed when i took my foot off the excellerator the was a knock sounds like its coming from the front only in slow moving traffic ?

Yeah, i get this too.

Its another common clio problem and I think the general opinion is it's caused by the engine moving when you lift off. Adjusting the engine mounts can fix this i believe, or some people have replaced them with uprated mounts.

Exhaust hitting the subframe.

Just as likely as the mounts.

Yeah, the noise is the manifold hitting the subframe i think. Adjusting the mounts to move the engine futher forward or tighten / uprate them to limit the movement should help.
