Rattling bootlid?

I am now the proud owner of a Trophy, picked it up yesterday and drove the 280 miles home with it and absolutely love it! theres a slight rattle coming from the bootlid, it is only slight but can you adjust the catch on them or not? does anyone elses do it?

I think you can adjust the black rubber stop thingies either side of the lid where it flares out above the lights.

first thing is to id what is rattling - are you certain that it's the lid itself? as it's surrounded by rubber it should be rattling.

99.9% sure its the bootlid because if you pull on it from the outside it does move slightly and makes the same noise, ill have a look at the rubbers, just wondered if anyone else experienced it. it was so frustrating driving it back from london as it was about 100 miles before i even took a corner, but it was worth it when i did

My actual catch makes a slight rattle, remedied by wrapping a piece of insulating tape round the inverted U-shaped catch.
