Has anybody run 205 width toyo R888 tyres on a Trophy?

And if so what offset wheels.

Thanks

not to my knowledge - the increased sidewall height may have something to do with it.

195/55 or 50's in 15" are standard, unless you're talking about 16"ers

Was looking at 205/50 R15's, been told they would be ok with standard geometry on front, but they rub on the back (requiring a spacer)

Want more camber on the front in which case it is going to get close between the tyre and strut body with 195 width nevermind 205's.

Think I'll stick with the tried and tested 195's and get the camber I want.

Thanks

a 205 50 15" tyre is going to be shorter than a standard 205/45 16" so i can't see why there would be any problems, using the correct offset and width of rim of course.

Size, total height from centre of hub, rolling radius.

205/50 R15 = 290mm & 1822.12mm
205/45 R16 = 292.25mm & 1836.26mm

So they are the same width and the height from the hub is shorter, providing the wheels they are fitted to are the same offset and width, they will clear absolutely fine.

Height isn't the issue, r888 tend to be wider than they quote 195 is more like a 205 road tyre.

The problem is that the inside of the tyre is likely to rub due to it being wider and that I want more camber on the front that will bring it even closer. (i'd say there's circa 10mm between tyre and damper body on standard wheel and tyre.)

Thanks
