I saw those the other week when looking around, I wonder whether it's the end of the PE2 given the PS3 is available in the same size/speed/load rating.

If pe2s do go at least this will be a good alternative, well on face value anyway!

Thing is if Michelin have owt about them they should realise that there are 1000s of 182s still around so should keep making them!

Even with the number of 182's around, it might still not be value for money for them producing what is probably still a low volume tyre. I know of the forums a lot of owners stick to the PE2s, but there's plenty of used 182's with all sorts of different tyres on. At least like you say, this should be a good alternative, and could possibly even be better as I'm tyre tyre technology has changed a lot in the last 7 or so years the PE2 has been around.

True, 7 years is a long time!!

I think trophy owners are more loyal then anyone to pe2s!

Have said that I have different tyres but that's because I wrecked the pe2s sidewall on track so have more tracky tyres

A few people on the Megane forum are running these tyres now, from what i've read so far they offer very similar grip to the PS2 in the dry but are a lot better in the wet, and the PS2's aren't exactly shy in wet conditions!

My girlfriend is running the PE2s on her Puma and she likes them, have to say im impressed too although they feel like they want to understeer a bit too much in the wet. Im looking at getting the PS3 when they come out as apparently the wet cornering and braking is much improved, wear is also a bit better.

Would get the CSC3s if it wasn't for a waiting list.
