Hi all

I have finally defected from being a Williams owner to owning Trophy number 299.

Only done about 200 miles so far and the clocks still only on 600 miles......

Speak to you all soon,

Matt.

Welcome Matt!

I'm no. 298 (in case it wasn't obvious). 600 miles, blimey! What have you been doing with it?

Post in the Register with '299' as your title to get your third star. I'm buggering off to the pub now as the weekend has landed, speak to you soon.

Only done 200 miles in it so far so not really sure.

I'll post up my thoughts sometime when I've done a few more miles.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm pretty sure you are the first Trophy owner on the forum who has defected from the Williams, so it'll be good to hear your thoughts when you've done a few more miles.

Had you had your Williams for long? It must have been emotional parting with it! My missus drives a Williams, and whilst it is not as quick both in a straight line and through the corners, it does have a special character that the Trophy can't match. I wouldn't swap with her though, the Trophy is in a different league when you are really attacking a road!
