My MR2

Been an MR2 fan for some years now, and currently own this 1995 Rev 3.



Looks fairly stock, but has full coilover suspension, and the old 3S-GTE 2 litre motor was pulled out (when the previous owner, decided to have some cowboy rebuild it), and it was replaced by a 3VZ-FE, 3 litre, 24 valve, quad cam, V6 from a Toyota Camry.



Voila! Instant torque monster... 210 ft/lb at under 3000 rpm!

However, I also have a soft spot for Clio's, and the Trophy is on my list as my next car. Hope to be an owner before long and join the brigade of Red.

That looks like aproper beast, love the old mr2's and all older toyotas untill toyota became boring (<supra mkiV) :x

my second car was a v6 camry - not exactly the most sprightly of 3 litre motors and the radiator was huge - i actually swapped one for a truck radiator when it needed doing as it saved me £100 lol.

Why not replace the 3sgte engine?
