I am looking to get a clio trophy 182 to replace my Mazda, getting married next year so need the money.
I am selling the best car I have ever owned as i am getting married and need the spare money.
It is a mazda 3 MPS aero in Mica black. I am the second owner.
The 'Aero' sport pack adds the aero dynamic wing mirrors, larger rear spoiler and lowering on eibach springs and shock absorbers 25mm at the front and 10mm at the back compared to the standard MPS. The car is rare on the roads, i have not seen any while i have ownebd mine or in the 5 months prior to buying one. 1000 were released for sale in the UK in 2007.
I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL NUMBER PLATES.
It is taxed until March 2009 and a full service was carried out in march 2008, so not needed again until march 2009. There is manufacturers warranty until 24th April 2010.
The car is a monster! It is currently running at approximately 260-265BHP and 300 LBS/Torque (256BHP and 280 LBS/Torque as standard)and will do 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and is limited to 155MPH (NEVER TRACKED OR RACED!!!!)
The car is standard MPS spec which includes half leather sport seats, 6 cd changer with 7 speaker Bose stereo, electric windows front and back, auto lights and wipers, Climate control, xenon lights, fog lights, steering wheel radio controls, centre leather arm rest, 3 point centre belt in rear middle seat, rear armrest for passengers, thats all i can think of at the moment...
I have carried out some tasteful mods to the car including, smoking the side repeaters and rear reflectors (Still red in the picture of the rear of the car), re-badging the rear of the car, and colour coding the Mazda badges to match the body work (done at mazda bodyshop to get a professional finish and exact colour), painting the callipers red, put on 18" Kie force 10 gunmetal wheels (same size as original wheels so does not invalidate warranty) with tyre upgrade to Toyo PXT1-S Tyres (put on in March). I have also put on a custom cat back exhaust with high flow sport cat made by 'long life exhaust'(Sgain this does not invalidate the warranty in anyway). This exhaust system comes with a life time warranty that stays with the car not the buyer. The exhaust accounts for the slight power gains. It has a low burble at idle amd is audioable at 3,500revs and above. Didn't want it to sound like an Evo! Mods cost me £1900.
I have a Cobb tuning short ram intake (SRI) on order from the USA which will boost power by 15-20BHP and the car can be sold with this for an extra £150.
Issues, There is minor curbing on one of the alloys and 4 dimple dents in the bonnet for which i have had a quote of £120 to get removed. They are only noticable when the car is clean and in direct sunlight.
I have loved the car in its time with me and cleaned it a lot!!! i am very disappointed to have to sell it. i know this is said a lot but i would not sell it if i dindn't feel i had to.
No one knows what the car is or what it is capable of so i dont get grief from corsas and the like, and when i do they are gone too quickly to bother me.
