Looking at replacing my standard air-box. Everyone seems to say ITG maxogen kit is the best but its nearly £400 so I was thinking would it be better to pay the extra and get the JMS inlet manifold ??

Or ... do I just keep the standard air-box as the above two will not produce that much of a noticeable gain ?

Tis a fair whack of money though (cue, £1500 GB price and probably wont happen again, £1700 normal price)

Very different products tbf. It depends how serious you are about it.
Second hand maxogen is my recommendation to most people, unless you really want to commit to tuning.

^^ exactly what I've got. Airbox cost a fiver from a local scrap yard, k and n filter was about 30 quid. Bargain. Also got a samco hose, all in all seems to work well and is cheap as chips.

Why an Espace ? Surely you would want a Clio v6 air-box no ? Would the Espace air-box be beneficial ?

V6 Espace airbox is nigh on exactly the same as the PH1 172 airbox, except it has one air hole instead of 2.

Fairly sure the Clio V6 airbox is completely different.
