Front Seat not sliding

My passanger side Recaro seat isn't sliding. It will eventually go when you pull up hard on the lever and seems to slide freer in forward but not well at all backwards. Mean just sliding not tilting, tilts fine

Anyone had same problem?

Am I right in saying that the sliding mechanism is a renault item just the subframe and seat being recaro?

I've sold mine now so I can't get you a picture but it happend to mine once! If you sit in the back and pull the lever and bend it over (O iii!) look on I think it's the inside there is a cable that with a hook on the end if I remember correctly! That needs to be put back in its runner! That will sort it! I'm sure there was a thread on here or someone with pictures can help you!

Have a look in How to and technical guides! There is a thread called Tilt Slide Repair and if that is not the problem there is another about refitting The cable under the seat!

Are the cables not bad for getting caught up or snapping ?

I know a few guys at renault and they said that the standard clio seats where bad for it
