Driving shoes

Has anyone tried out fencing shoes for driving in? They look very suitable, mainly because of the thin sole and rounded heel, and are not too expensive.

I used to do karting, kart boots were fantastic, and you get them in a shoe form as well. Nice and grippy, thin, with extra support in the right places

ok, I think if I am going to buy driving shoes, then may as well buy proper ones... any good outlets around? Cheaper online?

Yeh there nice. I prefer the shoe style though, more natural to wear outside the car

although i only use them for trackdays or if going for a hard drive in the car. day to day my high heels don't usually cause a problem!! :lol:

I have a pair of Puma Replicats great to drive in and look like normal trainers to.

At this point I'd like to inform you all that Snow shoes don't work.

I haven't bought a pair, but when i leave work, i have to change into my 6 year old trainers. I have to be able to feel the pedal and the trainers let me do just that. Only problem is they smell so much.
