why do so many drivers choose the mk1 or mk2 escorts? I know the look the part but is down to chassis or engine etc?
with the modified Ford RS suspension and that controllable tail out oversteer there's nothing quite like them. Well the mk1s anyway. I never had a mk2 but they must be similar.... and don't forget cars of that vintage were so light. that gets forgotten easily with modern cars, more's the pity.
have to say tho imo the Trophy is unbeatable in its class (and even out of it...), but there's still more than a lot to be said for rwd fun....
