Hi im new to this form and i need help making my mind up.
I just sold my Mk2 V6 after only having it 6 months, i previously had a 172 and loved it and was considering buying a trophy.
The V6 was a great car but but running costs were high for the limited performance and it just didn't seem as fun as my 172
With the price of the trophys fallen a bit and the running costs being more reasonable it is very tempting to buy 1 and having the cash to tweak it a bit.
Do you think i would be disappointed coming from the V6, has any1 came from the vee to the trophy.
Cheers
Sean

Trophy No.
274
there are a couple that have done it yes.

a-b over a b-road and a the trophy is quicker, on track they're very similar in pace. Vee quicker in a straight line but the trophy much quicker through bends. not sure on mpg in v's but you'll easily see 34 mpg in the T.

You will miss the wow factor that you do get with the V6's from onlookers etc but to jump in and drive the Trophy will be more rewarding and plenty cheaper to run.

I was regularly getting low 30's mpg for round town driving with a bit of blatting also.
