this is a group buy:

I need 9 others who want brembo max disks for their 172 or 182 - same disk.

Cost will be £76 including postage for both front disks.

First 10 to fill the list will grab a bargain, they normally retail for over £100.

I'll be needing the money as a commitment or something like 20% of the cost as a deposit before I order them so don't put your name down if you're not sure, testing the water or just messing about.

cheers

yep, hard negotiating got the price down from £95 for a set - their first offer. I'm not getting these through k-tec though - they're a middle middle man, i'm cutting one of those levels out and going direct to a distributor.

Hence why I need 10 pairs to make an order.

i should mention the correct cost of these is £77.. I had calculated the postage to be £5 when it should have been £5.99.

They retail for £115 normally.

im changing to pagid 15's at the mo, unless i can be convinced otherwise..... they seem the best although i've heard some lotus owners saying they bite too much for the road - locking wheels but an elise is lighter than the trophy so it may not be a problem for us....

George K has them on his and has not reported any problems in the limited miles he's done since fitting them.

Now ordered.

I've ordered a few extra sets due to all the PM's asking to keep the group buy open or if anyone drops out etc... To keep it open though would be unfair to the lads that have paid and are waiting for the disks.

If you're still interested in the disks and failed to get in on the group buy i'll be selling the extra sets in the next week or two for £82 + P&P. They'll be brand new and the amount is a £38 saving on the RRP.

To the people who are in the group buy - you should receive the disks either tomorrow or monday - may have missed today's post. If you haven't received them by Monday lunchtime pm me and i'll chase them up.

the grooves help cooling and also provide better wet braking. and for £80 a set you can't buy better ;) and the fluid arrived yesterday, just waiting on the RS15's and goodridge lines to turn up.
