Would be interested to hear your thoughts if you manage to view it or any further responses from the seller, they've gone quiet on my end!

You don’t need to physically view it, the under bonnet pictures of any car tells a story, the engine bay paints a good picture of the condition of any car. As I previously posted, every fitting and fastener is rusty, top mounts rusty, loads of cues as to the general condition of the car. Whoever buys the car has a fortune to spend to get it to a condition commensurate with the mileage and make a half decent car of it

It does still have the little foam blocks inside the wing channel though.

Can you get them Jules - I need one for my drivers side

No, pretty sure not. I don’t think they were ever a spare part being part of the “packing” for transport.
I have a picture somewhere of a brand new Trophy with little square foam blocks stuck to various places on the bodywork.
I still have one and a half of my under bonnet pads.

I was only saying I’d be interested to hear his thoughts if he does manage to :).

I’ve been bidding ‘blind’ like the other bidders I guess!

You need big balls to bid blind on this one Sam. The big seller is the1 owner, that’s about all you can say

Never good bidding blind Sam but I’m sure you know that already and especially from the North West - sorry in advance if it offends anyone in that area - Yorkshire is no different where I’m from HaHa

Had 2 people come to look at a Range Rover Sport today from that North West

First man had a beautiful 2018 BMW 530d MSport X Drive 40k with no issues but unfortunately had others to look at.
Second man had 2017 BMW 320d Msport MANUAL 34k - 1 stamp on the i Drive and 2 back street dealer services
It was on 19inch Runflats which all needed replacing which he decided not to tell us about and then the main thing was he had screwed a phone holder to the bash board (very 90s) which would have left visible holes when removed - his reply was no it wouldn’t leave screw marks - the joys of selling cars

Just had a look at that Megane, its a bit special alright.
But surely cars like that are basically undriveable, their value is in the very low mileages.

Its a pity to see cars like that which are so well renowned for their driving characteristics
not being used.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Looking at their Youtube videos of it, they have had it at least since September 2020 as well.

Well you where nearly right MR Northy - it’s had a retracted bid back to £14100 unusual to see but I’m not a massive EBay user - does it happen a lot ???

They must be reading this thread 🤣

Come on then boys, realistically what do we value the car at. Accepting it’s a one owner car which adds points and it’s low mileage - more points but it drops off a cliff there. It’s really an unknown for a potential buyer and as I’ve put before there seems loads of work to get it half decent. I suppose worst case you can put £500 to £1k aside for the sachs depending on whether you go BG or one of the more sensibly priced companies.
After that it all depends on what gremlins are in there after years of none use and none maintenance.

My own view is £14k is about where I’d be on it

My view would be a good few thousand more - but with the seller seeming to be a little illusive and making it difficult to view the car then the final price is in his own hands - like we said earlier in this tread the car needs viewing to establish it’s condition and originality and even after having a Trophy for 6mths myself I wouldn’t be confident of viewing it without taking one of you experts with me - CC would have achieved a higher selling price I’d say as it is a specialist sight with a more descriptive write-up and more than 6 pictures.
