Trophy 201/500 Project Begins ,

Me and Andy started work on the trophy tonight after i decided to keep the car.

Plans *

Dampers Refurbed and new Ajusters ( Then Painted so they Look New )

Respray minus roof.

4 X TROPHY wheels refurbed.

4 X NEW PE'2S

Brembo Hc disc's

Dc2500 Pads.

Matched inlet from K-tek

Lightened fly wheel.

K-tek short shifter.

Hid's (6000k)

Half Leather Rear seats and door cards.

K-tek Half Show Cage

Red Harness

Mark Fish Springs.



Lots of plans and how i want the car to look and feel.



Firstly the Dampers had too come off .

Eibach Springs ... Looks like some ones changed the springs before...

The cars going in for a respray minus the roof from a good mate of mine , who's a good damm painter



This is just a few pics to show the progress as it will take me a few weeks,

Dampers are now on the way to BG motorsport took a quick pick of the dampers cleaned up.
Need a few coats of paint when there back before they go back on.

I think you could have saved yourself some money if you had removed the springs before sending them off, one in weight of postage and two in Ben labour costs.

I know I only live round the corner from Silverstone, but Ben asked if I could take the springs off as it saves him time and me money.

How easy is it to remove the dampers from the car?

Just thinking you may need to jack the car up quite away to get them off?

Only as far as you would normally jack it to get a wheel off then it's three more bolts.

dont get the K-Tec matched inlet. JMS do both upper and lower for less than K-tecs lower...... just a heads up.

Your right easy as 1,2,3 getting them off , some bolts might be tighter than others but easy enough to get off,

is there much benefit from a lightened flywheel? Im really temted by the k-tec short shift as well, i think it would improve it so much :)

Flywheel you will notice better accel speed,

Just spoken with mark fish tomorrow placing my order on Brembo max discs - ferdo 2500 pads - mark fish lowering springs,

Dampers come back today £483 later ,
Simota Airfilter
Brembo Hc discs
Ferado dc pads.

Just need to get two new tyres and then get it into paint,

Will update the pics later

Shocks cleaned up just got them back from Bg now.
Next is to paint the lower half as its flakey .
New ajusters are blue as you can probley tell.

You mean the sach ones ? No ive cleaned all mine up and will mask them up when spraying.
