Hi guys, my best mate is buying a 172 cup and he keeps saying to me (only to annoy me) that it's faster than mine from 0-60. Is this right? As I thought the Trophy is the quickest from 0-60 out of all the Clio sports..... :roll:

There is absolutely nothing in it, by the time you hit 60 you'll still be neck and neck

it's quicker, just than the 172. To be honest the driver will make more difference.

The cup maybe a closer fight - neck and neck. Top end the Trophy will have it as the gearing on the cup was shortened to allow for quicker acceleration I believe.

On a twisty road or when it's wet, there's no comparison. You'll muller him.

It will be down to the driver. It's so close. Just turn traction control off and get a clean start.

I'd say those trophy times are definately beatable. I've done 6.5 with a bit of wheelspin.

I'd say they they evenly matched in straight line, well mine is compared with Ady182's.

Throw in some properly setup coilovers like mine and the cup wont be mullered at all :wink:

yeh i'm talking about standard cars. Stick a turbo on and you'll cane a Trophy lol.
