:( Hello again. Hope you`re all well.
I`m not...422 is cornering very badly now and not being a mechanic i thought i`d see what your thoughts on this problem are. (visit to garage planned for the end of the week)
The problem is,the car cuts into corners much sharper than it used to do and...
Had the trophy at Donington today, weather held out and the day went without too many problems, total result for me is the need for a new power steering hose and pump (long story)
Had a problem one session with loose wheel nuts (almost fell off  )
And another session the one the video is...
Hi All,
Well today I decided to check the rear disc pads, which I did, but ended up cleaning the inside wheels, arches and shocks. (sad muppet) :)
Decided to do the fronts and noticed the adjustable shocks still had the locking pins in !!!!
Well they don't now, couldn't help myself from...
Treated 415 to a full detail and valet from Autowash Detailing (http://www.detailing-specialists.co.uk) last Friday. Really pleased with the finished job (had the WRX done too, and the guy managed to regenerate my oxidising boot spoiler). Then of course it went and snowed. Have not driven the...
Before I get withdrawl symptoms. Very good trade offer (not private sale or retail prices please!), simple transaction, no test pilots or no shows. Finance settled where necessary in a mutually acceptable manner. FSH and cared for cars with little or no prep please. Please pm or call me on 07795...
I know a few on here have fitted compbrake STM's and I need some advice on which order to fit each part.
These are from KTR but im pretty sure there identical.

Here are some photos from Rebel's first outing of 2009 - a run around the Brecon area, South Wales (mixed cars/marques).
Despite the poor conditions of late we were blessed with pretty good weather given the time of year. For the majority of the run it was quite pleasant (if a little wet in...
Just took this snap to showcase my extensive fleet of motors! Not really. The Rover Cooper is off to Burton-on-Trent tomorrow, having been sold to fund Trophy 415. Luckily, the colour of the latter is a perfect match for my 03 WRX PPP, which I have had from new

I get a deep creak/groan sort of noise when pulling away. And no it's not the ABS system, it does it whenever pulling away from a standstill. Only started this week really, and i think it's related to my worn wishbone balljoints.
Normally i'd think engine mounts but it dunno. Anyone else had...
The ride with these springs is greatly improved, firmer but not too hard - you lose a lot of the standard body roll and it will look better too.

Time has come to insure, tax and test my trophy. The car has passed its MOT but I've been advised that the front disks and pads could do with replacing. The car has only done 10k miles but the disks have corroded, due possibly to sticking pads. Naturally, the dealers said the warranty would...
I have been offered this car back in px. 54 plate Black Gold Met with immaculate wheels and very good tyres. 23000 miles and just serviced. Owned by a fastidious car enthusiast who changes twice a year. Sold 6m ago by myself to him as a four owner car, so it's five now. I could likely do a deal...
Wheels are as new, lovingly polished even on the inside. Tyres are 60% worn Kumho V70A soft - the only make available in the correct size. Warning, they are brilliant in the wet, but not in standing water (only have 4mm tread when new)- also being soft they pick up every little bit of grit and...
Hi Guys.
Im looking for a wheel cleaning solution to get rid of Race Pad Break Dust.
There is a wheel cleaner on 'i4detailing' called 'Meguiar's Wheel Brightener
Bulk Wheel Cleaning Solution'. This looks pretty good but it says - Not for use on polished aluminum or anodized wheels...
Have just spoken to Rentech in Portsmouth about my Trophys hard ride. I love the car but using it every day, sometimes its just too hard. They have said that they can remove the pins from the dampers which will make the ride softer, however they have not had any feed back from the few trophys...
Hi Guys
Just wondering where you can get some of the silvervision indicator bulbs for clio?
And just how blue/silver colour are they?
If there not massively blue/chrome look, where can I find some Osram Diadem bulbs but still have the chrome effect?
Thanks :)
Tommy

Is it possible to do a straight swap for the FF's interior light, which (I believe) has a map light built-in to it? I'm doing a navigational rally tomorrow night and have just had to rig up a load of cardboard and masking tape to shield the light from my side of the car...
If anyone...
I have owned a few clio's in the past and have always taken it to the same Renault Specialist near where I live. He has been a Renault specialist for nearly 15 years and he is very clued up on anything French to be honest.
Anyway, I've had an oil change from him on the Trophy a few thousand...
I went to Bedford aurodrome the other day and-
In the wet morning the Clio was very tail happy and a whole lot of fun.
As the track started to dry the car became amazing. As the front started to slide, a very slight lift would bring the back end gently into line with no real danger...
