I was there mountain biking Ajr, I usually hire one though as can't be bothered to dismantle etc and put it in the boot... and these lovely spoilers make a cycle rack a bit of a challenge too! You're pretty damn lucky living so near to that place, its realy nice countryside all around that way...
Hello, yes that was me, good to know you are already on here, day was great, really nice weather and good to be outdoors.
Yeah I haven't seen another one for ages either, I looked at yours a couple of times when you came in, I couldn't really believe another one just parked up there 2 mins...
Re: Please help urgent - Re Glass & Insurance
Cheers guys, insurance says it won't effect my no claims, but thought they might do the old back dor "your premium has gone up... vandalism..." thing...
Bit of a problem though Highway insurance don't seem to operate on the weekend, so I can't...
Guys,
does anyone know if you make a glass claim under your insurance if the policy cost will go up - I am fully comp with Green light and some little scrot has broken my back window - no other damage, but not sure whether to make a claim for it under the excess for £60 or to pay for it to...
29 (just! - seem to be a lot of us born in August?), had the trophy for 1.5 yrs. and really enjoy it
Prev cars were Escort 1.8 (at 21 it was a beast!) Saxo VTS - still miss it and a E46 M3... miss that one more... but love the trophy and don't feel like checking the street every 2 mins to see...
Cue,
Thanks for the link - that's really helpful... mine's due later in the year.
Quick question though, if we use people like Mark Fish etc, will Renault still honour any warranty problems - i.e. if in my last service Mark says that a damper is fooked, then Will Renault just say... well you...
Yup, cue has it on the money
It's pretty annoying to start off with, but can be got rid off by a bit of tape etc... I've just grown used to it tbh appreciate it as one of the quirks of the car!
It's right at the back before the car rating bit, but I think after fast fleet - only a couple of para's on them though...
Bedford is quite poor btw, did it in my old car, and totally flat, and un-inspiring though a safe bet for people wanting to do their first track day.
I've been told that it's reasonable to swap the front set of wheels for the back set of wheels in the interest of 'cough' preserving consistent tyre wear.
While I appreciate this is potentially a pikey way to go on tyres, it may make some sense as it means you can manage to have 4 newtyres...
Permaguard is every 12 months quicksilver, (or just after) I just had my first renewal with Avie (dunnno if that's how you spell it) over by CIty airport - looking very clean now, only want to take it out when its not raining!!
I phones about a month before it was due and they said I should...
Good suggestion Hoolio, but, I've still got mine (at least it was there when I left for work... :? )
Am very confused about all this - had mine checked by Renault before I bought it, (someone on here's old man actually, so he obviously knows what he is looking for...)
As long as we both...
12,500 on No 177,
London Transport is my other car :-(
I only use mine at the weekend, done 5k since I bought it last year at 7k. Really hate that I can't use it more, but try to drive it as much as possible!
Mate, you will love it, especially when it powers into overdrive beyond ~4k rpm... and then holds it into corners and out...
What's your car history to this point?
Cheers for taking those photo's and the info mate, that's exactly the combo of brakes and pads I want so would be interested in your thoughts after they have bedded in.
Have to admit though, probably lacking both the tools and the technical knowledge to do it myself (thoough would be well...
You can get one for about £10 on ebay - that's where I got mine from, really easy to fit, works perfectly and only about £10!!
This is the same device, but not sure if its the place I bought it from (caveat for any purchase... ) - will look a little later to see if I can find who...
Pin removal makes the front suspension adjustable.
Once suspension is adjustable, you can make the front of the car stiffer or softer - in this weather probably want softer, but during the summer... you may want to try it being stiffer :P . I will presume you already know the pros and cons...
Spotted that would help (saw the post), but didn't have a socket that could get to the nuts - the frame above the radiator got in the way with the only socket I had available - bugger!
Done now though and arms recoveing!
Just did an oil & filter change on the pocket rocket - can't believe how difficult the filter is to get to and take off!!
Thaks to Oli S, Cue et all that contributed to the "How to" guide for the oil change process, though as I didn't find a 10mm socket, I ended up scratching my hands to...
Thanks Quicksilver - Your's looks good and rugged so it should last. Mine bike is just a cheap mountain bike with commuter tyres - use it for work mainly but taking it to wales on some off road tyres with some mates this weekend - will investigate more on this matter...
London meet looks...
Cheers chaps.
Quicksilver & trophy176 thanks, I did a search and found your posts from before was hoping someone had perservered on it and found one that works. I think we will end up putting them in the back of the car... just have to hope 2 fit in there!
Thanks for the link - looks...
Has anyone fitted a bitke Rack to their Trophy - from ones I have used in the past, I think the V6 Spoiler will get in the way :(
Any suggestions anyone?
Thanks,
Glen
So who was this then, left work at 7.30 and totally suprised to see a Trophy sitting outside Schroders!! Only ever seen mine in that area and then late at night when I've needed to go into the office
So who is ya?
That seems quite bizare, but sounds like an RDS issueto me??
Mine doesn't do that, but while we are on strange radio workings... mine always flashes ALARM whenever I enter the Rotherhite Tunnel, I haven't noticed it elsewhere, but defo in that tunnel and I don't even need to be listening to...
So I did a google search, and this is what 'people' have said (rather than officials). About Cars, but will cross apply
"So - the most important thing to obtain from a tyre? Grip and traction, the stability or handling of the tyre and the tyre-life. In short, you need to follow the...
