    Cooksport Springs in Brief

God. Delayed reply sorry!! Day to day they are fine. More suited on smooth Tarmac than bumpy roads. Firmer than stock, but not by much. Only really notice it on potholes. I actually find the spring rates are fairly well paired to the dampers in terms of compliance on the road.

    For Sale - Clio Trophy #067 - £4,350

Will be cleaned tomorrow, new discs and the exhaust aligned as I've just noticed from the photo's it's a centimetre out on one side: Here's the scuff on the A pillar, as mentioned, not too bad! Minuscule chip on the screen - not even big enough to repair - actually struggled to...

Newbie question....What to look out for when buying a Trophy

Car should be firm when pushed on all four corners and most should have had at least 1 refurb by now I'd have thought. Visually, no signs of leaks, but surface rust is acceptable assuming the car is used year round (some people have some cars and the dampers look visually brand new!!)

    For Sale - Clio Trophy #067 - £4,350

Well chaps, just bought a Z4! Collecting in 5 weeks so I have a month to sell the trophy. Fitting new front discs this weekend and I'll give it a good clean and chuck some new pics up on here. I'll feed it to pistonheads/Autotrader/eBay in a few weeks time, but I'd love it to stay on the...

Any interest at 220 collected? Secretly I'd quite like them to go on a trophy so I can see what they look like!

For sale OZ F1 15" track wheels

Set of 4x F1's. I've never fitted or balanced them but purchased them from another member on the basis they were straight and true. I've DIY'd these in Rover Pageant Mid Blue rattle cans. Sandblasted, 2 lots of primer, 3 layers of paint and 4 layers of lacquer. They've come up pretty well but...

    For Sale - Clio Trophy #067 - £4,350

Thanks Mate. It's genuinely going to be hard to part with the Trophy, as an all rounder they really are superb. Half of me thinks I'm mad selling it! For the performance, low running costs and practicality I doubt anything else for the money can come close.

    For Sale - Clio Trophy #067 - £4,350

Thanks for the feedback! I've priced it to sell, don't worry, I won't be entertaining silly offers around that price. It's a good'un but it's not mint and I'd never make out that it is :)

    Cooksport Springs in Brief

Just to report back on this chaps. Very pleased I made the move. Had these on for 6months/12k now :) Sachs are back on the rear. Height relatively unchanged but it's now far more planted at the rear as opposed to on the cup shocks. Also wearing 15" F1's instead of the turinis. Performed well...

I'm after one of the roll cages that bolts into the existing seatbelt mounting points. Harness bar preferred but not essential. Thanks. Sam

    Trophy on 15's and Cooksports

Only just spotted this. Personally, I prefer the drive on 15s - more playful and doesn't feel as heavy.

    Trophy on 15's and Cooksports

At the request of a few people I've taken a few pictures to illustrate the height of 15" F1's with Cooksports. Wheels are 7J ET38 iirc. Tyres, 195/50/15. No spacers. Shoddy effort with the camera. Parked. Took Photos. Went home. Too windy. No tripod. Trophy on 15's_09 by Sam_Wick, on Flickr...

Standard - no camber bolts. And yes... It's interesting (*read goes very sideways) in the handling department.

    Cooksport Springs in Brief

Cooksports have been fitted on my Trophy a week now. Few quick snaps, it's raining and I'm parked - excuse the lack of imagination. Height - Cooksports, Standard Sachs on the front, cup shocks on the rear.... Trophy_Cooksports_07 by Sam_Wick, on Flickr Trophy_Cooksports_04 by...

    Cooksport Springs in Brief

Yes, hoping they will settle slightly as well. It's already dropped a tad from when they were fitted. I did indeed go from trophy springs straight to cooksports. So i can't draw any other comparison aside from that. So that's standard vs standard plus cooksports back to back. I've had...

    Cooksport Springs in Brief

These are a hot topic at the mo so thought I'd post up my thoughts... I have now had Cooksports on my T for a week now. A point to note, my front Sachs dampers are in good condition, refurbed recently and no leaks... Rears however are cup shocks, awaiting new Sachs/Koni's to go on. Ride -...

    Dephaser pulley?

Worth searching youtube for the dephaser noise, it's very distinctive and "tractor-esque". Should help you identify it properly.
