Newbie question....What to look out for when buying a Trophy

Evening all,
I'm sure that this has come up numerous times but other than the "normal" points to look for when buying a car (service history, accident damage etc) is there anything else specific to Trophys that should be checked please?

The biggest thing to check is the damper condition and when they were refurbished last.
There is a thread in general discussion about faults reported from other owners.
Good luck with the search. Took me over a year and 4 viewings to pick up mine.

What are the tell tale signs of when the dampers are worn please?

Car should be firm when pushed on all four corners and most should have had at least 1 refurb by now I'd have thought. Visually, no signs of leaks, but surface rust is acceptable assuming the car is used year round (some people have some cars and the dampers look visually brand new!!)
