Cheers!
With a heavy heart I'm putting the Trophy up for sale which I've owned for over 4 years. If I had anywhere to store this I would, I genuinely think this is an appreciating asset what with all the praise it still gathers, and for very good reason.
I'll put more details/photos up later this...
Sounds like it should be good then! Reckon I'll head to the 'ring on the following day also. Does anyone know if they let you attach a camera mount to the windscreen for spa? They didn't let me at Brands said the mount had to be fixed rather than suckered on
I bought a set the other day to use as track wheels, haven't got round to fitting yet though. I hope they do fit! All my research prior seemed to say they would with no issues... will let you know when they are on
After a set of track wheels, anything will do as long as they fit the T. Prefer without tyres if poss as already have those. Can collect around the Dorset area or arrange courier if needed. Cheers
I thought the mpg read out was lying to me also, 40mpg at 80mph seemed too high. So purely out of curiosity I geeked it up a bit and calculated the proper mpg from fill ups over a couple of months. Turns out the computer in mine over estimates by 1mpg and I average 37mpg with the standard map...
So thought I'd buy an RSTuner, see what the fuss was about. TBH can't say I've noticed the kind of improvement some people talk of, I think its more of a placebo effect of thinking the car must be faster.
Anyhow, did the long drive to Huddersfield and noticed my MPG at the end was 31. I do...
Can't remember which model Fabia it was for or exact part number, but I just did a search on Cliosport you'll find it straight away.
Took about 3 inches off it. With a fresh blade its easy to cut. The plastic is soft and rubbery, so even if you hit it on a kerb or something it won't snap, it...
Literally just walked up from the garage after fitting my splitter - finally got round to it after a couple of months. Used the Skoda one, really easy to fit all you need is a knife to cut the tabs off and shorten it a little then 10 self tapping screws.
I reckon prices will eventually level out at 4 - 5k mark. I just can't really see them appreciating. Although "those in the know" know these are cracking cars, they are not like a Williams for example that everyone, car person or not, knew about and really defined the genre.
So as luck would have it I also need 4 new tyres... As OP mentioned on Blackcircles it does indeed recommend Michelin PS3's 87/w at £130 fully fitted, the 83/v at £118. Do we really need the w on our little Clio's and is it worth the price difference?
Also ATS appear to be doing 30% off a set...
Anyone else find the exhaust drones a bit up to 20mph? Didn't notice it on the first day fitted, but seem to notice more now. Fine further up, similar to standard
Excellent - my standard exhaust is blowing and been wondering what to go for. Want it as quiet as possible as close to standard as you can get, from the countless posts/videos I've seen this looks like the one!

2. Steve f (cliotrophy.co.uk)
3. Ash87 (cliotrophy.co.uk)
4. Ipatters...
Hmmm I do actually need a splitter, my T has never had one on and it hasn't really bothered me before, but I liked the subtle difference it made on this other T. I was going to buy a Fabia one, could you do anything on a genuine one?
The chap who it was definatley clocked I was driving a Trophy, as I overtook him on a roundabout but he wasn't looking over, then he must have noticed as he caught me up then pulled in and sat behind me.
I didn't know there was a fellow Trophy owner in Bournemouth though! Good to know :) I...
Yesterday at about 6:45pm on dual carriage going past Tower Park in Poole A3049 I think it is. Didn't get the plate as couldnt see out the back due to my bike, but we got a little Trophy convoy going.
Just back from a similar round trip, Bournemouth to Manchester and back. I'm a Huddersfield supporter and wish I'd never have bothered...
However at least the Trophy put in a sterling performance, an idicated 37.5 MPG at a steady 80 - 85mph
Hi,
I need a karting/trackday helmet but can't find anywhere nearby Bournemouth, or the South in general for that matter, that sells them. Reluctant to just buy one off the net before I've tried it on for obvious reasons. Anyone know of a place round here that sells them? Cheers
