Yes I think I must have been mistaken when I posted that back then. There was no readout, Mark Fish Performed the adjustment with bits of string and sticks (and about a million years of experience) so I never had anything to refer back to. After I had the toe dialled in it felt far more settled...
So I guess you will be leaving the rear settings as factory? What about the fronts? I always thought mine was toe out but going through the posts on here from years ago I might have toe in. (something I will need to be making a decision on soon)
Thanks chaps. Paint finish had suffered a bit from contact inside “the bag” but a quick(not the right word that) glaze brought it back a little.
I already cant wait to get it back.
Car is off on Wednesday. As commented on, looks in perfect condition but suspect the bill will be painful. Fortunately (or not) the wife component is not a factor :)
She is a little like me, looks okay on the outside, feeling a bit old under the skin. Full service, all fluids, bushes and bearings. Stuff taken off and powder coated. It all escalates pretty quickly “ If you going to do that you may as well do that as well etc etc” ☺️
Just a few jobs to do before she goes off, reattach rear bumper for one and I’m damned if I can remember what bolts go where!
And this is how anal I used to be ☺️_
I have a fairly healthy budget (spent a lot of last summer in hospital etc rather than a holiday and this years holiday cash will be going the same way) as I only want to to this once (ish) A lot of that list was done shortly before I stopped using it so I will save something on parts there. I...
You don’t need to buy another bonnet switch to confirm whether it is that that is faulty. You can unplug the switch and the alarm will arm, or not, without the switch in the loop.
Just looking at that picture of you lining up at the start makes me anxious, my stomach would be doing literal backflips. Car really is lovely btw.
Nice wheels Nick 👌
So 307 will shortly be making its first trip in more than five years across to AW. I have a whole list of things that I would like done to the underneath and engine but I know will have forgotten something. So if you were having a major refurb, what would you be wanting to have done?
Go……
Of course, you don't tend to stay in business for long these days if you are absolutely shit at what you do. To be honest I hadn't really heard anything until I got on this thread, as mentioned they seem to be more popular over on ClioSport but that does come with its own cost. All it takes is...
I spotted another 2/3 Trophy’s in that video so the extra(?) promotion seems to be working. They have had no discussion on here, that I can see. Is it more of a Cliosport thing?
That must of caused a sharp intake of breath, must have been quite tough to see. But kudos for your great attitude, everything is fixable. I think you will have a few of us keeping an eye on things down there, so no bad thing.
This popped into my feed earlier as well. I have been seeing a few of their posts just recently and I was wondering about their reputation.
Sad to see this one in that state but you know, sometimes life just gets in the way and tomorrow becomes several years down the road, I know.
Obviously there is the Powerflex option that has been discussed on the boards previously. Maybe not as elegant as OE and tbh unproven in terms of performance but would allow you to get them on the car.
So 307 has finally been booked in for a refurbish after a long stay in storage and for one reason or another the car with need to be transported to the garage. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom or any experience. The AA use a company called AnyVan which doesn’t fill me with confidence but...
This same issue used to drive me nuts until I stumbled upon the fact that if I moved the leads under the passenger seat the lights would go out. I cable tied them up to the bottom of the seat.
