Good afternoon team trophy,

I’ve been going through some old threads trying to find a near as dam it standard paint code for the Sachs front dampers.
I can see the question has been asked plenty of times before (are they grey or silver…) but no one has (at least from what I can see) has been able to come up with a paint code.

Can anybody shed some light on what the paint code might be ?

I don't think there's any definitive answer to this as I've seen about three different versions of a silver/grey colour on original damper bodies brand new from the factory.

Later dampers do tend to be a more flat grey/silver, whereas earlier ones seem to have more sparkle...

I guess it's a case of which you prefer and find a close match.

Thanks all, I’m the process of having some work done to the underside (clean up and protection) and also having the callipers painted. Was thinking of going for the same colour as the dampers (hence asking for the paint code) but I’ve decided for a more oem+ look by keeping them silver.
