i dont think he was smiling but i know i was! he must of been suprized thinking a little car keeping up. all corners were pretty much 2nd gear and once or twice in third, the torque on the mclaren should of flew ahead. im board now its back to chasing corsas and fiestas and old people in rovers
i was on my way to the jet washers to clean the car and at the traffic lights lies a mclaren slr, i was hoping he'll go the back route which he did!, and i couldnt believe how good my car is, i took traction control off and its so much better, it turns in so much quicker and it didnt feel scary...
is it easy to remove the accoutic valve? ive had the whole airbox removed for my viper kit so there should be room to get to it, just dont really know that to do

as its a nice day i went for a drive around the countryside and thought about cutting a hole so my induction could breath better, do you think this could devalue the car and even damage the engine if it rains, dont want water sucking in the engine
i think the cams are £580 inc vat, and the remap £295 i recon the car will be over the 200 bhp line after that. its alot of money for such a small power gain
i might be thinking of buying some billet fast road cams for my trophy as k tech racing say it gives more torque and power gains of 12-15 bhp. does anybody have these fitted to there trophy or clio 172/182? would it affect the handling as i dont want to ruin a perfectly good handling car f
ive got some mods on my car, a viper cold air feed kit, janspeed ultra performance exhaust system and the new sports cat to go with it and the car feels pretty much the same. ive tried some 0-100mph runs on a private road and i cant see any difference, do you think i need a remap to help it out?
has anybody been to gdi tuning to get anything done to there car? i wanna get a group n remap and inlet manifold, that will be the last mods i want on my trophy, just want to know if there any good or are is there anywhere else thats just as good or better? i live in northamptonshire east...
ive just brought the ultra performance system the supersports with the sports cat, cost me £680 inc delivery, its getting fitted on thursday, the whole box weighs 19kg, with the sports cat inside too, where can i hear one on a video?
i know the clio is rather torqey but ive seen some stats with the clios torque rising to a massive 170 ibf with some mods on, what do you need to get this sort of figure?
ive just brought my trophy last saturday and it was quite warm so i thought il try out the air con and to be honest i wasent impressed, my old 172 was the same but my old 1.5 dci clio was ice cold, i went down to dealer and they said it didnt need regassing. has anybody had the same problem?

i now have a viper cold air induction kit on my trophy , i was told around 5-7 bhp increase but it dosent feel any faster, in the mid range theres a difference, feels very torqey but i think ive lost abit of top end grunt. just brought an exhaust and sports cat so hopefully that'll make it...
