Very much so, well rated along with the Brembo for the fronts. Have fitted some slightly cheaper branded pads in the past and they haven't quite cut it. Would always stick with the Brembo HC discs too over some of the cheaper and less well known ones.
Have had the Ferrodo DS2500's in the past...
Given the mileage on mine (130k) this will be one of the jobs I contemplate doing.
Any further information on this? Is there anything that can be done other than replacing the whole sender unit and seal?
After spending the last few weeks researching the steering system on the Trophy, I decided to buy a used rack off a semi-local seller on eBay and took it all apart, just really for my own knowledge and an ideal spare. It was removed from a 172 Cup, and from discussions on Cliosport, the tie rods...
I'll dig my receipt out tomorrow, think mine needed 4 valves but not 100% sure. I had ran mine for a while after the timing jumped due to something smashing through the cam belt cover and ran it for approx 6k miles before it finally gave up. I think I paid £450 ish for the work which was cheap...
The rear shocks are Cup but from recent post they are believed to be near same dampening rate as the Sachs. 1 of the shocks is soft albeit the piston returns slowly, but the other is very hard and perfect for use.
Anyone on here?
Parked in the front of the main Ferrari dealership.
Assume a direct swop so they'll have a used Ferrari for sale tomorrow!!:laughing:
I've just picked up a mint set of Cup shocks to keep as spare, wondering now whether to fit them and feel the difference, I've driven the car almost every day for 8 years so should notice the difference if there is any.
Second steering wheel up for grabs if anyone requires a spare. Nowere near the worst example out there, but has some melting / blisters as shown and 1 of the thumb grips has been replaced with new rubber.
£30 posted without the air bag or £40 posted with.
The Trophy is based on the Renaultsport 182 Cup with several technical changes. The suspension is based on the Clio Cup set-up. As a reminder, over the normal Renaultsport 182, this has lower ride height, stiffer springs (20% front, 15% rear), re-rated dampers (+20% front, +10% rear)...
Sorry forgot to add a spare steering wheel I have which is actually in good condition given it's age.
Will be supplied with a new thumb grip fitted on the RHS and can be sent with or without the air bag.
£50 posted with airbag or £40 without.
It depends on the rubbers, some of mine came off OK, the others look completely shot.
Link to the cheapest place for the Powerflex ones.

All items used with the exception of the black 'racing' bushes for the Evol dogbone mount which are new. Let me know if anyone is interested or if any questions.
The springs are Apex 40mm lowering and will fit 172 and 182 variants.
Thanks
Have a set of the shock rubber protectors, all spring cup rubbers and the rear top mount bushes if anyone wants them?
The plastic covers have had very little use, but the top mount bushes are not the best condition.
Drop me a pm as I've had these sat around in the garage without realising.
Took my set off today which I replaced in 2011/12 and they are both solid as a rock so very pleased. One side far more worn on the silver body which is odd, but I think I've read that before.
My top bushes didn't look great, but I've put the better bushes from the top to the bottom on both...
