Which engine oil should i use for my clio williams? Only 45k miles on the clock. I can't remember the oil I use just now although its elf, just want to check I am using the right stuff. What do you guys recomend? Fully or semi synthetic?

HELLO I'M NEW What engine oil should i use for my clio williams? Reg vardy are a waste of time, they are suppose to be the dealership for Renault yet don't have a clue about which engine oil to use for the sport version cars! They don't even stock Elf or Total engine oil!

I'm looking to get my service done and geometry setup sorted by Mark Fish Motorsport and i've bought some of the much hyped Silkolene Pro S for the oil change, but i'm worried this will invalidate the warranty as it's not a Renault recognised part? Apparently, they need to see receipts for all...

Is this any good as been quoted £36 for oil change using this oil. I have to supply genuine filter & sump washer. ATS :!: Renault want £50 + i have to supply my own oil! What you think :?:

I am just coming up to my 12k service and I have been quoted £221.47 by my dealer!! I personally think thats a bit steep! Do you invalidate your warranty if you go elsewhere to get it serviced? If not then does anyone know of somewhere decent around the Salisbury area?

It was £121.23 with me providing the oil. What has everyone else paid? It has only just clocked up 10,000 miles but I have decided to get it done early. Also, how many miles have you had from the front tyres before having to replace them? Brian

I tried to buy oil for my Trophy from Renault Ilford. TOLD NO OIL 2 WEEK WAIT. Can you believe it? I asked how they service cars without oil The parts bloke said they buy in from Halfords for 182s. :roll: Where else can I get Elf oil or is there alternative? Help would be appreciated :)

Had the 1st 12000 miles service on friday, luckily i didnt pay for the service because when i picked it up the guys in the garage had spilt petrol in the car and it stank, so as a good will gesture they picked up the cost. Also, any ladies/gents had the problem with the spray paint rubbing...
