Hello chaps,
sorry to bump this old thread but I finally got around to my last auto journal about "Mario Kart".
Click Link if you fancy a read.
I also wanted to say thanks to everyone here, this is one of the best and most friendly car related communities I have seen on the web so keep...
Cheers guys - I'll give them a try.
Theres a few of us up north these days! I may arrange a meet for an up and coming autojournals but more of that when I get to it :)
Had an argument with a badger the other night and need to get a new splitter :(
Iirc there were some tasty carbon splitters that a few of you have - any links or advice as the best place to buy?
Cheers guys

Drivers side wiper has given up the ghost so I need a new one - a mate of mine mentioned something about "Aero" wipers that feature on Lupo's, meant to be much better than the standard ones but he was not sure if they will fit a Clio.
Any one know what he is on about or can recommend a...
I nearly had a Verde York Evo 1 as my first car until I realised the day before I picked it up that I had no insurance - of course, at 20 no one would go near me in such a car so I ended up in a 350 bhp Dog Wagon Impreza! (never understand how I got insurance for that but not on the lesser...
That was me matey!
Was taking a very good friend for a look round and a bite to eat in Kelso - also drove up to the William Wallace statue which was pretty cool and found a few cool back roads for the next AJ update.
Drive back was very busy (got rid of a new CTR which was fun in the...
Can't make it this year due to work (first year I've ever missed it)
At least I got out to Le Mans last week - saw a Trophy in the Arnage carpark early sunday which must be someone from on here?
Have a great time all those that make it down! 8)
Was chilling on the way to work today and a Trophy came flying up behind me and flashed hello so I waved back before he turned off in Belsay on the A696 - I'm sure I've seen the same one flash me in Ponteland - any takers?
Car looked nice and clean btw - not like mine then
Not me, sorry guys!
I'm just off the A696 near Great Bavington on the way to Scotland btw - Mario Kart is covered in mud, Goodwood, Evo and AJ stickers atm so I'm sure you'll know if you see me (that or my captain slow driving style) ;)
Oddly enough I saw another Trophy on the way to...
At the recent Evo Road and Track Car of the Year, Davids "Zee 0 six" was putting out 570bhp and 535lb ft! (dyno-verified)
Dickie Meaden classic quote of the day was: "The Z06 is one of the few cars I've driven that feels too fast everywhere!" - I will have to talk Mr Yu into letting me have a...
Classic Steve!
A mini Cooper S work mate had a lift in Mario Kart a while ago - all he kept saying was "it's not as fast as mine" until a few coners later when he changed to "I could'nt do that in the mini". 8)
We need a thread for these stories ;)
Interesting thread!
Mario Kart has visited at least three dealers in the Newcastle area:
Big Newcastle Benfield: The dealer where I purchased the car from was excellent when it came to ordering and prepping the car – everything was perfect (as it should be for a new car) and the...
I feel like a right old pimp but my new Journal is up Click Link Mods: Hope you don’t mind that I mentioned this site!
(Yes, it’s the embarrassing mud story – I promise to try and keep the Kart cleaner!)
Auto-Journals has had a load of new cars added recently as well...
Considering the larger readership I think they have done a fine job with the mag (unlike Edge magazine which has vanished up its own backside reveiw wise at least)
Next issue will be good - can't wait to see how the Trophy stacks up against the others.
(The new Corsa can't be that good...
Sorry its taken so long to get this up guys - I've nicked my post from the Evo forum (Friday night + headache + still at work = get home asap)
Basically the car was handling like a pig so it went off to the dealer to get it sorted (I posted about the problems in the "Faults with your...
I take it my three year warranty won't cover the rebuild then?
Cheers for the information, good to know what sort of green it will take to sort them out. :)
