My 50k miles example was nicer than that - why didn't they even clean/wipe inside the engine bay, even if you aren't going to clean up the manifolds!

Yeah I have to agree with that Rich. I can honestly say that my 150k mile example is presented in a far better condition.

It still doesn’t take away from it being a very low mileage example, which I’m sure we will all be watching closely for the end price.

I agree Stef that with some effort it would be one of the best Trophy’s out there - the only thing that is a real shame to me is that the wheels need refurbishing, they would then lose there originality - but hey ho.

I know a man with all the correct parts stashed away don’t I Ed 🤣🤣🤣

I started the post Jules just to see how many dipsticks would come out of the woodwork with their negative comments - however there’s not too many so far amazingly.

I was going to reply to some of the comments, especially of the FB page but suspect I would make few friends so I will keep my mouth shut and just be the grumpy old fart in the corner.

When's your going back on the road Jules?

Really? "Tatty", "a 99k car", the inference that it has been clocked. There are lots of clues if you look at the picture that it is an honest car the "looks" like it would need very little to make it very very nice.
I must resist the urge to really start laying in.

It has been off the road for far too long now. The guys that were going to take it in in the spring let me down and i let it go. It's finding someone local (ish) that I trust. Going to need new belts now after doing almost zero on the last set, humph.

Do tell .....
I'm speculating, but I wonder if it may surface in that facility in Glasgow. They've just sold a Trophy they had, and I just have a hunch they've done that because they were looking to get their hands on a lower mileage example.

I may be completely wrong... ;)

That’s a shame, yet in even more so adds to the mystery….

Maybe a helpful family relative in the police force helped provide an address for the current owner …?

Or an inside tip off from an employee at collecting cars to one of their preferred clients.

Shame we don’t get to see it go under the hammer ….

I've sent CC's a online message to see if it will be returning or if the vehicle is now sold -

I'll post if they come back to me.

I hope not - impressive collection but walking around static cars is not my thing.
