wing mirror / wind = noise

When driving above 30 mph my driver wing mirror starts to whistle with the wind. The passenger one is fine. It's not that annoying as with music at a normal level you can't hear it, but i wondered does anyone else get this?

I dont get this problem myself, but I know it is quite common.

Try plugging the hole in the bottom of the mirror that they use for the temperature sensor on the other side.

I believe its something to do with the outside temperature sensor....or theres a hole under the mirror which you can put a bit of tape over

I used gaffer tape, worked well until it blew of after 10 minutes

I get this. It is very common, and in order to get around it, you'll need a new mirror I think. I just live with it.

could always fill it with expanding foam

never had the issue on my full fat. I will try plugging the whole with something as suggested. Not really a huge pain to me though just wondered if i was the only one.
