That's the first R5 Dimma I've ever seen Nick.

I'm guessing they weren't as common or popular a conversion as the likes of the 205, back in the day?

Naa. Not for me that Nick just looks like an R5 which has been on a diet of extra pies. The crispness of the lines has been lost for me by the addition of flabby looking fibreglass. I think the Dimma 205 sort of worked better as it had more of a 205T16 look to it, and in period, the split rim 1.9 style wheels did look the biz.

Oddly, I like this, rear high spoiler somehow reminds me of an escort cosworth. Lovely colour and in very good condition…. What is the estimated prediction on price ? Thoughts ?

Could it be that Nick is on commission….. rather than just “ in the know “ 😂

I think Nicks alternative name is Matt Bird who also places similar articles on Piston heads ….. 😁😂

Only playing Nick …. Sorry , having a glass of wine and couldn’t help myself !

I think he's already earning enough commission on those Ragnotti Splitters from France... 🤣 🤣 🤣

That sort of reminds me of one of the best Only Fools & Horses episodes, To Hull and Back.

I just so happened to be watching it the other night and reading your post Ed, I now just
have a vision of Nick, setting sail across the Channel in an old boat, to collect a valuable haul
of rare Trophy parts, to get around the old customs....Del Boy style!!

Do you look good in a life jacket Ed?

😂 😂

I’d rather a Raider or a Pearl White standard GTT.

Thought about buying a GTT a few years ago but the questionable reliability kept putting me off!

I can appreciate the rarity but the 205 dimma and Williams dimma def look better than the 5!
