It will sell and sell well I reckon, First gen Williams with that mileage just don’t come up.

Iconic sold one with 106,000 in 2022 for £33,000…

Someone like the guy who bought the 001 trophy will buy it to add to a supercar collection!

If two big hitters want to bid on it who knows what it could make….!

I think @Chipper has got that spot-on there - the market has deffo slowed but there are only so many unicorn's left to purchase.

In France they have made really good money -

To all those earlier disparaging comments. I’m sorry you’re wrong, just look at that…..IMG_0800.jpeg

To be fair, although they got the rear looking almost perfect, the front kit is just not quite right.

To be fair, that looks very well from that rear 3/4 angle, especially with the dished wheel.

But as you say hoolio, its just a bit off at the other end ;)

A full paint is needed on that Andy I’d say - shame really for a 58000 miler

Not an expert on prices with these (unlike Dimma’s) 🤣 however is it 17/18k ish - would it maybe touch 20k on a good day 🤔

I thought you would have said higher than that Nick…. However I acknowledge your opinion. I haven’t looked on a large screen, only my phone, so haven’t studied the condition that closely.

😁 I bet you can’t get within the same small price range a second time!

( place your bets )

🤗

Funny world at the moment too, recaro in trouble this week, AM shares plummeted!

I’m taking into account a 8k re- spray which would bring it up to nearly 30k -

No pressure on me then - however I’ve been using these tactics for over 35yrs 😅😅

£15900 including fees - a little rough around the edges for a 56000 mile car

Not too far out Andy

You did say 17

Good estimate Nick,
I don’t think that’s a bad purchase.

It was nice to see the reserve removed.

While I know next to nothing about prices etc., that seems like a bit of a bargain.
Considering the mileage and the general interest in the Williams, especially the
original series.

Or maybe we've just become more used to these sorts of cars selling for £20/30k
and even way more, over the last few years, with the post Covid price rises and bubble.

I think so too Titan , I don’t think I would be disappointed at all, if that was at a car show, or goodwood, and I was in the room at the time, I would have been more than tempted to bid at that money.

But it’s the way the market is I feel at the moment, lots of things are not selling. Cars, watches etc….. people seem less keen to spend their money.

Shame really Francis - however we see the same thing with our Trophy’s and your 205’s

#futurespendkillstheprice

However if you just want to say you own a 56000 miler Williams it does sound good.

I know what you mean Nick.

Sometimes buying a certain car is the easy bit.

Its when it comes to try to find parts that are NLA or have a big price
attached to them or are just very hard to come across, that ownership
becomes that much harder to justify, I think.

Even still, it would be interesting to drive something like this Williams though,
or to see a bit more about what its like underneath.

Hopefully the new owner gets to enjoy it.

If anyone has money to spend on what you might consider as luxuries, cars, watches etc.
they certainly aren't in as big a rush and as frivolous as a year or so ago, alright.

I think a lot of people who bought cars then, only seeing them as a one way ticket to
making easy money, no matter if it was a 911 GT3 or a Volvo 850 R, soon realised that
those same cars cost you money, even if they are just sitting on a trickle charger.

Cars are usually a hole for money, one way or another and especially if you have any interest in looking
after them as best you can....as my empty bank account will attest to!!:cry::ROFLMAO:

Now Francis - this is testament that good cars that have been sorted properly will always sell and make good money -

Miami Blue with 93ooo miles and a low 7 owners for a 34yr old car - £16250 and still 5 days to go - what will it make ????

This one has had a fantastic job done on the interior and to me the phase 1 cloth is so much nicer in my view - also reminds me of the T16 -

188000 miles -

Nice example Nick, clearly been well looked after as well.

I could see it maybe making,£19k or so,in the current market? (I'm not a fan of that term 🙄😂)

Personally,I'd go for a Sorrento Green car,now that is a stunning colour in them I think.
