What seats for the Trophy

Love driving the Trophy, but feel like a bus driver

Think some lower bucket seats would complete it, what options are there and what experience have people had with them?

Bimarco Futura's, cost naff all, are FIA approved & blooming comfy/supportive.




He does Black as well btw

I've got a set of OMP ones in MK2 Escort, they dropped the driving position down quite considerably! Quite cheap if i remember too about £122 each, FIA approved, fixed back (but still really really comfy) and very very supportive for when youre chucking the car around, theyd probably suit the T quite well but would have to fit them in mine quickly to confirm!

There is a way to lower the seat positon slighty with the Trendlines isnt there?

If you remove the rubber donuts or 'vibration mounts' under the seat, it drops it by about an inch.

But the seats still offer minimal support for track days!!

Think theyre about £299 or something like that, minus subframes obviously.

Youre always welcome to fit the passenger OMP out of the escort for an afternoon and see what you think of it? I think it would need a different subframe though!

I put a link in at the bottom u donut

225 each, but 20 each side for sidemounts iirc.

Then ull need an omp subframe at 40 each.

So, less than 600 for both sides all in.

Its the same bloke lol ... lives in West London, but is Polish, so imports them over.

Thats where all the retailers get their seats as well. The RenaultSport version came about after JMS asked him to do some custom ones for them :wink:

Just send him a message, nice enough chap. Also goes by the name off RRPetrolhead (or similar).
