Well 143 is on eBay now at starting bid of £5.5k. That fits your mileage
As others have said I would be impressed to see a good full history car for that money with that mileage. You might have to accept some compromises like more mileage or needing belts/sachs Service. You might luck out on a motivated to shift seller.

Thought that'd sold; belts & damper refurb can cost the best part of £2k, depending if rods are scored etc, plus warranty at the UK's most renowned RS specialist
If I was in the market, I'd be booking a viewing!
Got to agree that is not a made price and spec on the Ktec car.
I'd be wondering what on earth I was doing if I paid anywhere near £2k for the belts and a damper refurbishment.

The first time my Sachs were refurbed it was found that my rods were both scored badly, hence new replacements were needed. By the time the damaged parts had been replaced and the refurb complete, I was £1100 lighter. Add £700 to that for a cambelt service and it's not far off £2k really. I guess it depends on the shape the Sachs are/were in.
That still sounds like you'd be taking it to the most expensive place you can find. I was £500 at cornering force and about £600 for both belts, dephaser, water pump and wheel alignment at a Renault specialist. So belts alone would be a good bit cheaper.

It was the only place to take it. Sadly @Rik Perry and Cornering Force weren't around back then. It was either BG Motorsport or buy new dampers.

Hopefully that's the last of the snow and we'll get some warm sunny weather with a few more cars coming out of hibernation.

I personally think you will need to up your budget if you want the above spec.

What price should you be looking at for this spec. in your opinions. I too am in the early days of looking would appreciate guidance in this area.
Hard to answer really, but if its in good nick and 60-70k miles, £6k upwards
Sub 75k miles, good service history and oem - I would say £7.5k.
