Trophy's write off/scrapped

Hi, I'm in the market for a trophy, but have seen a few mentioned on here that have been write off or scrapped. I don't want to end up buying one that has been write off previously so was wandering if their is a list off trophy's that have been write off anywhere? I have searched but didn't find anything. If not could a list be made up to prevent future disappointment to future trophy owners?

We've not got a list as such however when we come across one that is no more we update the number in the owners register found here: http://www.cliotrophy.co.uk/forumdisplay.php/148-Trophy-Owners-Register

If you come across one you are interested in, check the register to see if we have any history on the car, may well find the previous owner is on the forum

Not every car that's write off goes through insurance, so wouldnt rely on that too much.

Surely you mean not every car that is crashed goes through insurance?

If a car is 'written off' that is done by an insurance company, ie deemed too costly to repair.

Yeah that's what I meant, some people crash cars and don't go through insurance.
