I do wonder if they should introduce a starting reserve on CC? It would save all the messing about with £100 here, £100 there at the beginning of these things. Can’t see the point bidding 600 quid for a Trophy… 🤣

(Sorry… I’m in a mild grump as it’s very hot out there & the drive home has consisted of an idiot in a ‘German Whip’ doing something stupid every 500 yards… 😡😂😂)

Unfortunately number 451 is going back up on CC in the next few weeks, as I’ve recently moved and no longer have a garage to keep it in, away from the elements! Super sad days and not one I saw coming so soon.

Interesting to see so many brilliant examples go up for auction in the past couple of months!

Any predictions? The stolen recovered malarky may possibly hamper bidding if it bothers folk. I can see it doing £15.5 including fees.

It would be nice to see it make that money Ed - I re-looked at the MotorCheck report I did in 2022 and I can honestly say there wasn’t really any damage to get excited about which is why the marker was then removed -

Hi guys, 459 is my Trophy on CC currently - after 3 years of not driving it (because I decided I wanted to keep it in the exceptional condition it came to me in) I decided it was time to reduce my outgoings, albeit not before I put it through a £1k service, fettle and MOT! I did in the meantime however buy a much higher mileage Trophy - no. 198 - which had been superbly sorted by the previous owner and which I am regularly enjoying. For 20 year-old cars they really are enormous fun and they still look brilliant (and unlike most modern cars I can easily hop in and out of it even though the elevated seating position remains laughable!) ATB. J

I think that’s the beauty of having one with higher mileage, you don’t mind putting more miles on it and enjoying the car!

Hope all goes well with 459, it does look in great nick and I’m sure it’ll go well!

Shame it didn’t just move on a little more before the final bell - however does the stolen marker still haunt this car ???
I was surprised at the really flat finish for this one Nick, no interest at all in a run to the end. What a shame. I think there's no point trying to preserve the mileage on this one, somebody just needs to use this car and enjoy it, because it seems that bit of history is always going to deter folk a little at sale time.

Yeh this was my one from only last year. Unfortunately (and unforeseen) I’ve moved house and no longer have a garage/the space for the additional car now.

It’s been serviced and MOT’d, new injectors, coil and leads as well as some other minor bits, so it drives a lot better than when I picked it up, which is frustrating (always the way when you sell a car it ends up feeling as good as ever!)

Went to the motorist on Sunday for their cars and coffee, only T there, not a single photo! 🙄 still like the fact it’s that under rated even collecting cars didn’t take any pics. 😂😂
