The Chap was right a few weeks ago to not take £7100 - good result at £8400 plus fees = £9120
I and a couple of others, it seems, offered him £9k in February though he was quite dismissive of that at the time!

May I just ask.I would agree with you but on to bigger and better things... Mine is actually 177 (one of two 177s slightly ominously) but it's a cracking car and I love the rawness and simplicity. I picked it up in April (I think) and have been slowly working through some minor jobs on it to bring it up to standard (genuine new boot grommets, steering pump leak fixed, CD mechanism fixed, replacement genuine brake pipe, replacement genuine steering gaiter, AC re-gassed, a few new bits of trim and the underside sealed with Lanoguard!)
I had no idea it did! Thanks for letting me know. I’ve corrected it now.May I just ask.
If you own one of the duplicate Trophy No. 177's.. why does your profile state you own Trophy No.345?
What's the story behind there being 2 #177s? I've never heard of this!I would agree with you but on to bigger and better things... Apparently, there's two of them. More info here in the car's owners register thread. Take a read and make your own mind up.What's the story behind there being 2 #177s? I've never heard of this!
I don't think that's the case though. As the thread said, it's more likely that Renault made a mistake. My VIN number brings up that it's a Trophy in the My Renault app.Apparently, there's two of them. More info here in the car's owners register thread. Take a read and make your own mind up.
Not the first time this has cropped up and I doubt the last... Especially as time goes by and the cars increase in value. We see it all the time with certain classic cars now being (re)created because of their value, Old Mini's particularly Cooper's and Cooper S's are notorious for logbook creations (basically ringers) and I heard somewhere recently that there are now more of a certain sought after old Ford Escort in existence than Ford actually made... Unscrupulous sorts will always find ways to make a quick buck. Dare I say it, the ease with which a Trophy could be cobbled together from any old Clio really, does make for an uneasy situation, which is why the Owners Register of this forum and @SharkyUK 's 'Trophy Tracker' website will be an invaluable resource in the future.
Well, it's there on the thread that a forum member was somewhat surprised by a car surfacing for sale with a trader with the same number as his, when was it, 2016 or something? So it does seem to be the case that there are two cars with the same number pertaining to them. No matter how anyone chooses to spin it, to me it just seems really odd. I just can't see Renault making two sets of a few certain seat sticker numbers with regards to these duplicate cars which crop up from time to time, but that's just my opinion. However, so long as you're happy with the car and enjoying it, that's the main thing.I don't think that's the case though. As the thread said, it's more likely that Renault made a mistake. Pretty sure it's my old car No.69 - MJ55CCO. Not 67.3 currently on flea bay!
No 67 and 277, other one not listed by number
310 up next on Collecting Cars - They just keep coming.
I think this Chap bought two Trophy's last year so I can understand his reasons for letting one go -
310 looks like it’s been taken of the site now -
